Dasha Skorubskaya-Kandinsky was born 1985 in Kiev. A descendant of a famous creative dynasty (father, Anton Skorubsky-Kandinsky and mother, Natasha Perova) she spent her childhood in the Crimea, where she graduated from art college. She has exhibited widely since 2003 and became a laureate at the V.Zaretsky contest, held in 2010 and 2012. Her works are in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, USA, Germany, France and Israel, as well as in collections in the Museum of Modern Art of Ukraine (Kiev) and MORA (Museum of Russian Art) in the USA. Kandinsky explores the subjects of impermanence, the fragility of life and the human form in keeping with the 'Mimesis' thinking - Spirituality in art, Artistic continuity.
