HRD ANTWERP DIAMOND LAB
HRD Antwerp's primary shareholder is the Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC). The AWDC, a private foundation established in 1973 as Hoge Raad voor Diamant (HRD) or Diamond High Council, represents the Belgian diamond industry.
The HRD Antwerp diamond lab is the largest diamond lab in the world that issues reliable diamond certificates, grading and jewellery reports fully compliant with the rules for grading polished diamonds set by the International Diamond Council (IDC). HRD Antwerp is the only international lab that strictly adheres to these rules, which have been approved by the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) and the International Diamond Manufacturers Association (IDMA), the industry's two leading representative bodies.
